The problem you have mentioned indicates a problem with the power supply of the unit. The blinking code is a self-test diagnostic that is activated when the system detects a failure. Please let me know how many times it blinks in between each pause so that I can help you with you with the diagnostic.

You said after 1 minute seconds it turns on and turns off again. SO I though you meant it was flashing. The problem in your case seems to be the ceramic fuses on the power board. There should be 3 of them. 1 on the power supply board where the cable goes into it and the the other two near the circuit protectors. You should replace them with one of exactly the same specs so that you can have your tv up and running again. This should atleast get the tv into standby mode so that we can see if the problem is fully resolved or not.

Yes you should open the back cover. And yes you should check those near the protectors. Note that if you do not have prior experience in dealing with HV electronics, its best to leave them to a tech. I would also recommend a reset by unplugging the set from the power supply, hold for one min and turn it back on. This will reset the relays just in case it had gone into protect mode due to a power surge.

This is not a simple fix. You will need a new module to fix. I would wait for the warranty repair.
call them everyday; it usually gets them there faster.
