1. Tighten the bolt on the seat-post of your bike's seat if your seat is a bit shaky. You may need to replace this bolt if it is rusted or withered.

2. Adjust the pitch angle of your seat if it is uncomfortable. You can have it level, leaning forward or leaning backward depending upon what is more comfortable for you. Use an Allen wrench (Allen key) to loosen the bolt on the-seat post to adjust the angle.

4. Tighten the tension on the cover of the seat if the seat has one and it is loose. If it has 2 straps underneath the seat attached with a hook, release it from the hook and tighten, then re-hook the straps.

Will other seats fit without too many modifications

Almost ALL bikes have different size seats because the gas tanks are different ... so much so that it is really not worth checking ... but there should be LOTS of aftermarket seats available. Corbin is the stiffest at first but will break in after a few million miles ... or less. If you need to know about the others and want prices, email me back and I might be able to track down some great possibilities. Used to be a dealer years ago and still know where everyone hides and would be happy to help.

Bicycle seat fell apart

If you don't have a local bike shop to reassemble your seat or sell you a new one, you can probably find one to fit at Walmart or Target. A good bike shop will often give you one of better quality than you can buy at a department store, because many cyclists replace the seat with one that fits their bottom when they buy a new bike.

I popped my seat off my bike and for some reason i cant figure out how to put it back on lol need some help

you have probably sorted this out by now, anyway its easy to say replace in reverse order, so i wont,
you dont say what bike it is fitted to, i would first sugest you have a look at the undeside of the seat, you want to observe at the front of the seat, you will find a forward facing lug of plastic, (if your seat is plastic) around the tank area," on the frame you should see a cross member that the tank itself bolts to", the plastic lug should fit under this first, holding up the rear of the seat slightly, slide the lug under the crossmember untill it is forward as far as it will go then lower the rear of the seat into place you should hear a clicking noise as the seat locks into place WARNING MAKE SURE THE BIKES KEYS ARE IN THE IGNITION AND NOT UNDER THE SEAT AT THIS POINT. Seats do varey and some have more than 1 front fixing, some are made from steel, some hinge, and some bolt instead of locking, some have obscured bolts behind panels, and so on, ask yourself how easy did it come off. if you are still having problems with this seat contact me with make and model and i will do my best to help, good luck and happy motoring, paul

Trying to trasfer my beto bike seat from my husbands bike to my bike. My bike does not have the 2 holes in the frame that is below the saddle to attach the bracket to. I do not have the bikes mentioned...

i used the extra brackets my disc brake mdl came with and fitted it to the bike seat clamp instead of the frame..

Mine came up solid as a rock! no issues.

I bought a new seat for my 1996 Fuji Sagres. The old saddle clamp is too narrow for the new seat rails. Where can I buy a different sized saddle clamp that will fit my bike?

take it to a bike shop and get a new seatpost. bike shops
have manuals that they can check to find a seat post that
fits the bike frame and has the proper size rails to fit your
new saddle.
this is a good time to upgrade the seatpost, you can get one
that is lighter and more adjustable that your old one.

Kmx125 seat compatibility

There is virtually no chance that a seat from another motorcycle manufacture will fit your bike. If you need a replacement seat check ebay for a good used one. If you only need a replacement cover, check some only aftermarket parts companies like "Dennis Kirk" or stop by your local aftermarket bike parts store. You could also have a local upolstry shop make and install a new cover for you. They should also be able to restor the foam padding if necessary as well.

Good Luck!
