I have a miser12 electric that was working fine then while not home the power kicked the breaker off and now no hot water at all.

Remove elements and check continuity between the two terminals. If you have bad, or no continuity,
replace the element.
I suggest that you buy a 1 1/2" ratchet socket because the element wrenches sold today are terrible.

Hot water heater

1) Check across top two screws on upper element for 240volts.
Circuit breaker can be tripped on one leg so water heater appears to have power, but only has 120Volts to ground, and not full 240Volt potential across both wires.

2) Move wires to another same-size circuit breaker

Rheem rte13 standby (green) light not on

You might have crossover problem caused by bad faucet cartridge.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Crossover.html

The green standby light should come on when 240Volt power is applied. Page 6 manual.
Both red lights should come on when tankless is activated. Page 6 manual

RTE 13 requires 60 amp breaker and 6 gauge wire
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Tankless-electric-water-heater.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Rheem-TanklessElectricUC_AP15447.pdf

Factory temperature setting is usually default 120 degrees.
Adjust temps page 11 manual
Thermostat calibration is always approximate.
120 degrees is not hot enough to burn the skin.
Exceptionally cold incoming water temperature can cause tankless not to heat enough hot water: install tempering tank to preheat water to room temperature.
Tankless cannot be exposed to more than 11 grains hardness in water. Delime tankless yearly, clean water filter monthly, do not install low-flow restrictions or conserve water since the flow rate must remain high for tankless to activate.
Rheem does not post service manuals for their tankless water heaters.

80 gallon tank what is the voltage and how do i hook electric wires to it

Most Larger water heaters are 220 volt ac single phase. This means you need 3 wires, two hot wires one neutral or ground. You will need to come from the breaker box off of a dual breaker of 30 amps or better. See the manual with the new heater. In your breaker box you have two sides or in coming service. The right side and the left each side is hot 110volts ac. you need to pull one leg (hot) from each side into the dual breaker out to the heater connections. The ground or neutral wire is un-insulated copper. Run these wires out to the heater. One black hot at 110 vac, one white hot at 110 vac and one plain copper ground.

NO HOT WATER BREAKER IS OK

Not knowing how old the unit is, it's possible that both elements could be bad, especially if you ru out of hot water quickly. If your sure the breaker is okay and you know how to use a voltage meter. Check the voltage at the thermostats and elements. While you are looking at the thermostat(s), press the red reset button and give it about 5 minutes and see if you hear the water heating up. If you have voltage at the thermostats and the elements. Turn the power off and check for continuity through the elements. If you don not have continuity, the element is bad. If all seems to check out, you probably have a bad upper thermostat. Check all connections and inspect the wires.

I need to know where the reset buttons are located on the 30gal model 71-305 Rheem hot water heater. Help I'm not getting hot water so I'm trying to start with what may be a simple solution.

Shut off all power to water heater at breaker panel, remove side cover where thermostat is located. Test that there is no voltage at connections, with meter, to be 100% sure you shut off correct breaker. Thermostat should have a red button in middle to depress to reset if it's tripped.

Circuit breaker trips on electric hot water heater circuit

Check the voltage at the water heater. Sounds like the element is burnt out and is tripping the breaker.

If it is more then 5 years old I would check.install a new heating element.

Water not getting hot / Kenmore Economizer 6 / Electric

Did you check to make sure that the breaker is good on the unit? Check to make sure you are getting voltage. If not, check to make sure that the thermostat located in behind the panel on the heater is getting voltage and also sending voltage to the elements. If the elements are getting voltage but aren't heating, the element(s) is bad.
