Question about Heating & Cooling

Water is dripping insider from my mr. slim MSZ09UN unit. Not heavy amounts, but enough to let me know I have a problem. I'm guessing the drainage path to the outside is blocked, but I can't find any imformation on how to clear it.

Okay sir take the unit apart an clean front an back coils THATS IF YOU HAVE A WINDOW UNIT so clean the bottom base an add bleach to system to treat an coat the unit so that slime an other unwanted things wouldnt grow .Now if you have an up flow or horizontal dis connect the primary drain line an blow out with compressed air or an compressor so it would clean out lines, there are many other right tools you could use but these are some of the common things you would have..treat unit with bleach in pan or drain assemb

Water dripping out of Mr. Slim on indoor unit.

Reason for water leaking.
1. Filter block. 2. Cooling coil block. 3. Alignment of indoor a/c unit is sloping downwards. 4. Drain pan block. It's advisable to service your unit first.

Dripping cups of water

The water is condensation on the cooling coil which is normal. If there is a drain you should check to see if it is clogged. Some units use a heater to evaporate the condensation but I don't know if your unit has this feature. Let me know what you find.

Water leaking at front of condensor ( inside)unit.

sounds like there might be a blockage in the condensate pan that is not letting all the water drain through the condensate line. if you can access this area try to clean all the debris out

A.C. unit

One of the cause of water dripping in the indoor is restricted drainage. To Identify if your drainage is restricted.
- Turn "off " the circuit breaker and take out the face cover of the unit.
- Turn "on" the circuit breaker and start the unit, wait until the unit drips.
- When the unit dripped check the drain pan if overflowed with water.
- If the drain pan is full of water you need to flush the drainage with water to remove the restriction. If the pressure of water in your area is high you can use your garden hose to flush the drainage.

Another is dirty evaporator fins (icing), dirty drain pan, broken drain pan or incorrect installation.

YOU CAN LOCATE THE DRAINAGE AT THE LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF THE DRAIN PAN
