Error appearing in the 'delay in hours or minutes' box

I'm getting a 'd5' message in the 'delay in hours or minutes box on the washer. It's not the regular delay message which usually looks like 'h2' or 'h4' (hours delayed equals 2 and 4 respectively).

Because of this error, I can't start my load of wash.

Please help!

SOURCE: wont start

Try unplugging the unit for an hour allowing the microprocessor to reset. Plug it back in and use as normal. Let me know if this helps.

D5 error for my zoom g1xn. what is the solution for that?

A D5 error? Are you sure you're not reading it as "d5"? If you're in the Drive Module, d5 is "distortion+". If you're in the Delay Module, d1-d9 are settings that control the mixing ratio of effect sound versus original sound and the feedback amount. I'd refer to a user manual here:

Hope this helps you.

Need self-cleaning instructions....missing manual.

To Self-Clean: 1. Close the oven door. 2. Move the door lock lever to the right to the locked position. 3. Press CLEAN. 4. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pad. CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) appears in the display. If the door is not closed, beeps will sound and "door" will appear in the display until the door is closed and the Clean pad is pressed again. If the door is not closed within 45 seconds, the self-cleaning operation will be canceled and the display will return to the time of day. If more than 5 seconds elapse between pressing the Clean pad and the "up" or "down" arrow pad, the program will automatically return to the previous display

CL-H (Clean - Heavy soil, 4 hours) CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) CL-L (Clean - Light soil, 2 hours) Choosing a cleaning level automatically programs the selfcleaning time. 6. After 4 seconds, the oven will start cleaning. "LOCK" and "CLEAN" will appear in the display. The cleaning time will count down in the display. To Delay Start Self-Clean: Before delay starting Self-Clean, make sure the door is closed completely or it will not lock and the cycle will not begin. 1. Press DELAY. "DELAY" will flash and "00:00" will appear in the display. 2. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pads to enter the amount of time you want to delay the cycle. Delay time can be set from 10 minutes (00:10) to 11 hours and 59 minutes (11:59). 3. While "DELAY" is flashing, press the CLEAN pad. "CLEAN" will flash in the display. 4. What does error code 18h mean

Hey friend, thank you for the post!

I see you are getting an 18h code on your front load washer. Normally any error code would have the letter E or F in it. I would suggest that stands for 18 hour delay start cycle, you could do a reset on your washer by disconnecting power to it or turning off the household circuit breaker for ten minutes and turning it back on. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt

D5 error

Error code D5 OR DS is the same. Its mostly DS which looks like D5. The D5 error is actually DS. The code means the washer thinks the door is open or unlocked during the cycle. The door has to be checked. Is it getting properly close/open.If its getting close/open then the problem is related to faulty door locking assembly. But if its not getting proper close then there is any blockage causing the door to close or the door lock latch is faulty causing this problem.

Hope helps.

Code D5, what is it?

A d5 error code usually means Sd. This error code is displayed when the control detects the basket has not seated on the hub or that the pressure switch has detected a Suds-lock condition. The washer will try to run a mini-clean out cycle using cold water and a 5 minute pause to clear the suds. If this cycle does not clear the display and complete the cycle the clothing may need to be rinsed by hand and then rewashed. The fault is caused by using the wrong detergent or excessive amounts of detergent.

Note: If the Hard Reset does not work, there may be an internal failure with the washer.

What does code d5 mean? The machine will stop and stay idle for several minutes and then start again. This happens several times per load, but eventually finishes.

Hi, The reason for d5 error is due to defective door lock switch. You will need to have this damaged mechanism replaced to fix this problem.
