I have to disconnect and reconnect my Buffalo Router each time I want to use a different system. How do I fix this problem so I don't have to do this anymore?

I think you need to reset your modem and start anew. I am going to send you to another forum to learn about your WHR-Hp_G54

I've had a new laptop but require my security key, model WBMR-G54 to access the security enabled network, from my old laptop.

If you've forgotten the wireless security key you entered when you set up the router you can reset it by connecting to the router directly with an ethernet cable instead of the wi-fi. Plug a cable into the router and then laptop and access the setup page for the router. See the manual (or download one from the buffalo site) for setup instructions.

I need to connect to one PC trougth my buffalo router, I have the Public IP, but I don{t konw hoe to configure the router and the pc

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

Im a computer dummy ive just bought a wbmr-g54 and i havent a clue what to do

1. Install Software that Came with The Product. Usually it has on-screen instructions.
2. Hook up wbmr-g54 to your computer. ( Ethernet Cable to Modem, And Ethernet Cable to Computer. If you have a wireless thingy majig for your computer then that would detect your router already.)
3.Set up Internet Security, and Firewall.
4. Get up onto internet and Surf it like its Teahupoo.
