Question about Samsung Instinct Cell Phone
I am receiving unwanted text messages and am using a pay as you go service. It is costing me money and I don't know how to get the text service discontinued. My service provider is not at all helpful. Can you advise me?
Like the person above said, usually you just respond to the texts with "STOP" or "OFF" or "CANCEL"
Y'know, words like that. If that doesn't work, it might be worth asking your provider to block the number entirely.

whats your service provider?
and what particular event/account (unwanted txt msg) you are recieving?
usually there is a default for this....
lets say as an EXAMPLE : JambaTones
" JambaTones OFF "
" JambaTones STOP "
" JambaTones NO "
its just usually like this.. type this and send to the number that texted you.
hope this helps. thanks for using fixya

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
