My remote is missing and my young son changed the on screen display to Arabic or something. The child lock is also on. How do I get the child lock off?

I have a similar issue. The remote is gone and I can't access the Menu to change the options around. I tried a universal remote, but that doesn't work! Any other ways to access the menu with this model?
