I would be of the oppinion you have suffered a power surge and most of the curcuits are fried in my oppinion you need to replace the unit if it can be proven it was a surge your power company by law must pay to replace it to do this you need a pro tech to certify it was a surge (power spike) or if you have home contents insurance its covered by them as well
