Question about Garden
I just replaced the coil (35135/35135A) on my Sears (917.254630) riding mower. It starts and runs great but when you turn off the key, the engine stays running. Any thoughts?
Most small engines incorporate a ground wire that makes contact when the key is put to the off position. check to ensure that the wire is hooked to the switch and in the correct position

My name is Dane and I am going to help you solve your problem.
Run your mower again and when it starts to run rough, loosen your gas cap. If it runs right again, you have a stopped up gas tank vent. clean it or replace the cap. Could be a bad coil too. I hope I've helped! Thank you! Dane
