My device won't charge

This situation sometimes occurs when the batteries get overcharged. Use the phone for a day and then attempt to charge. If it still won't charge, remove the battery for about a minute. Then re-install the battery and attempt to charge. If that doesn't clear the problem, you may need to get a new battery.

I am trying to hook up my digital answering system with a multi line phone. I need step by step what I need to do. Thanks Ivy Hutchison

The answering machine would plug into the telephone jack on the wall, and the telephone would plug into the jack on the rear of the answering machine.
Now you do mention that the telephones are multi-line units. This could complicate things a bit because the 1739 is a single line answering machine.

If the telephone does not have individual jacks for each line (a jack for line 1 and another jack for line 2) you would need to purchase an adapter (maybe 2 of them...depending on the wall jack) that takes a 2 telephone lines and splits them into 2 individual jacks.

For example:

http://www.tti.net/computer-telephony/phone-accessories.html

After the lines have been broken out, you can connect the answering machine to the line that needs it. You would then either plug the lines into their respective jacks on the wall, or use a 2nd splitter to combine the 2 lines back at the wall jack.

Just got a HTC incredible s and i plugged it in to charge and the phone shows no signs of charging. help!!!!!

I would take the USB cord and plug it into your computer and charge it that way. There has been some trouble with the wall charges coming with phone not working. If it still won't charge, its time to take it back to were you got it. Good Luck!

I am having problems setting up the phone cords. what all do i need to plug in my fax machine

You should only need the power cord and a phone line. My Brother has 2 jacks for the phone line. One is a line in, (from the wall jack to the fax machine), the other is a line out, (for you to plug in a dial up computer connection or a second phone). Make sure you have the cable from the wall jack plugged into the line in, plug.

mcdevito75 here, You cannot access the internet and make a phone call also unless you have DSL. You can get an adapter for your phone line. This adapter will go into your phone jack and be able to hook up 2 phone lines, 1 to your computer internet and 1 to your phone, however you"ll have to dis-connect from the internet to recieve or make a call, and if your on the phone you can"t get the internet. This phone jack adapter is available in Radio shack or even some dollar stores. You can of course make a phone call with a cell phone while connected to the internet.
