Question about HP Pavilion a1410n (ER890AA) PC Desktop
Open the control panel, system/device manager..look for the audio section(codecs) see if any of those are marked with a question mark or exclamation point. if they are, uninstall that item, then go to scan for hardware changes, under the Action tab.
may need to get new drivers for your HP first though..go here for those.
