Question about Nintendo Wii Console

2 Answers

This sucks... 1st day - No color yesterday, 2nd day - still no color and the remote hand doesn't show up... I've slapped the remote, beat the remote, tried different TV's, - this is going back to the store after one day unless someone can help me perform a miracle on this thing. I'm not an expert at systems but this is terrible.

Are you using some sort of SVIDEO cable on your TV or other device that you have the Wii connected to? If you do, remove it and this will clear up. SVIDEO does some crazy stuff.

For the remote problem. Have you synced the remotes? There is a red button on the wii inside the front door, you need to push that. If that doesn't work and the lights just blink at the bottom of the remotes disconnect the power from the back of the wii let it sit for 10 seconds and connect it back. From there they should sync up.

If the Wii is set to 60hz make sure your tv supports it. For the curser problem, try replacing the sensor bar or changing the sensitivity

AUTOMATIC TRANS

on automatic transmissions Ok,1st check the transmission fluid level if low or if any at all, 2nd you might check your trans shift solenoids, or the wiring to the solenoids verify which solenoid you might need to replace by google it can show you a location of the 2nd and 3rd. If this doesn't cover the issue the next step is a tech to work on the transmission cause it could be and internal issue.

Have you any ideas what i should check next?

Even though your shifter doesn't show 1st gear, your transmission will start out in 1st, then shift into 2nd at around 10-15mph. If you start out with shifter in 2nd, you should feel the gear change.
About all the average person can do with automatics is check the fluid, and possibly drop the pan and change filters. sometimes that helps with slipping or balky transmissions, but not always.
Good luck, Bill. Maybe somone else has some ideas?

what you need to do is replace batteries in a controller and if it still doesn't work then you need to sync the controller to the wii.

My remote just stopped working on my technosinic home theatre. any way to reset the system?

Check if it is a remote problem or not:
-Using a digital camera you should see white vibrating light comming from the remote if it is OK.
- If nothing happens, remote problem.
1st: Change batteries.
2nd: Try to find a similar or universal remote for test. If your system is OK with this remote, your remote faulty. Take apart, probably some hit/drop broke the PCB inside.

- If you see white light through your camera, your device has some problem.
1st Check if your device is working (can operate with buttons/knobs in the device itself)
2nd Try in darker day period (no direct sunlight) and go close to the reciver.

Slapping noise after chain adjust

hi there,,1,5, to two inches is correct,, is that all the way round by the way, sometimes u can have a tight spot,,it seems correct sometimes wen adjusted in one position,, but spin the rear wheel round it will either slacken quite a bit,, or go very tight, with no play in it,,,your cush drive rubbers behind the rear sprocket housing on the wheel,, may have a bit of wear in it,, or the chain haz a stiff link in the line,, and needs more oiling,, if the chain is dry ,and right now in salty conditions it will be, then that will cause chain slap,,,

Luminox 8200 series dive watch date set issue

This movement has a really quirky thing going on, its one of the few movements that you can actually turn the hor hand to set the day forwards or backwards...so on a day that goes from the 31 to the 1st it will advance fine, if there is no 31 for that month you can turn the hour hand 2 cycles and it will advance through the 34, continue to the 1st and set time...date can also be set by turning the hour hand backwards thru the dates...go ahead it doesnt 'hurt' the movement a bit, its made for this...so in oither wiords, when you get a new cell and the date is lets say the 15th and your watch says its the 2nd, just advance the hour hand through until you hit 15 and yoiu are good to go...hopefuly this help and didnt confuse much...good luck:)
