Question about Nintendo Wii Console
Are you using some sort of SVIDEO cable on your TV or other device that you have the Wii connected to? If you do, remove it and this will clear up. SVIDEO does some crazy stuff.
For the remote problem. Have you synced the remotes? There is a red button on the wii inside the front door, you need to push that. If that doesn't work and the lights just blink at the bottom of the remotes disconnect the power from the back of the wii let it sit for 10 seconds and connect it back. From there they should sync up.

If the Wii is set to 60hz make sure your tv supports it. For the curser problem, try replacing the sensor bar or changing the sensitivity
