I have a Chamberlain Liftmaster garage opener model #2255. I need another remote and have one from a previous home. It is a Chamberalin kiftmaster 41A5235 433 mhz. Can I program this one to use at the new house?

The new keypads will be on a different radio frequency. Home Depot does sell a universal keypad made by the same manufacturer as your opener. It is model KLIK 2U and will work just fine.
go to home depot, buy a universal remote for chamberlain, thats all we sell at my store. And we dont stamp our store name on it. Its straight from chamberlain.
There will be a model number on the opener. Usually on the end closest to the door. With your model number call any Chamberlain dealer listed in your yellow pages. They would love to help you.
Some will work and some wont. If you go to this website it will tell you. You must have the model number off the motor unit of your opener. It is on the end closest to the door and starts with 139.
Go to this website and find your model number in the left column. The second column is the model number of the Liftmaster remote that works.
Depends on the age of the opener. The model number is on the end of the opener closest to the door. Using it go to Sears parts and you can find out if the remote is still available.
