I have a very similar problem with the same exact Panasonic sub. I went to Best Buy and Radio Shack looking for an adapter, and they basically told me that one does not exisit. Apparently, Panasonic designed the home theater system specifcally so that it could not work if any part of the entire system was ever seperated.
If you go into the set up menu and go to the speakers set up - it only
shows the right, left, centre and subwoofer on the screen. You need to
go down to the box below these speakers and activate the rear speakers
which are not shown. The wireless section will then light up w1/2 on
the display at the front of the scbt100 - i had to call panasonic to
figure this out and they advised me it was missing from the
Can you explain a bit more please. What exactly is the problem? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the TV? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the home theatre? Have you got the home theatre setup via HDMI? Have you connected the audio from the cable to the home theatre via optical or phono? What model is your LG LCD HDTV? I already have the manual in front of me for your home theatre system. If you can give me some more information I can help you out. Thanks.
if you take the cover off you'll see the fuse...service manual is available to techs with a code and most info is labeled "confidential". techs would risk losing tech support if known they give to public
have you got the cable box video out (yellow RCA) connected to the video input on the panasonic? What kind of tv is it? Is the tv displaying the input that the panasonic is connected to? If "progressive" is selected, it will not display on a standard definition tv. Does it matter which mode the panasonic is in (CD/DVD)? I guess I'm just asking for more info ;-)
