If you GX260 does not have sound ether the problem is with your speakers or the computer.
To test this I would try connecting head phones to the speaker output on the back on the computer to see if you have sound.
Another thing I would do is download the most current sound drivers from support.dell.com to see if this fixes your problem.
If you still have trouble leet me know the version of Windows you have and the make and model of your speakers.
