Question about Sony BDP-S300 Blu-Ray Disc Player
We recently acquired a S300 Blue Ray disc player and when we put a disc into the player a "no disc" message appears. Any suggestions???
I just had to send mine in for the same reason...support suggested a firmware update....i did what they suggested and it didn't work...wouldn't read the update disc....I just mailed my player to sony this morning.....call support and get a workorder to send it to Sony for repair......their service is less than optimal because the consumer has to pay to send it the player for repair...unless you live in the Mount Pleasant, PA area....My guess is that they are going to send me a refurbished player that works....not the same unit that I sent them because they had me send back all accessories, etc. I won't buy another sony again....their service sucks.
