RCA H100 MP3 Player

i have an rca h100a and i go to turn it on and it loads 1 bar then stops.Then it says(FAT error plz connect ums device format)then it says HDD.then it will come up with icons but no words.I tried what somone told me witch was pluging the mp3 ur computer with the usb cord and then go to a fil called 'my computer' then find the icon of an mp3 that says rca h100a or h100a then right click on it then click 'reformat' when i go to do that mine dosent say rca h100a or h100a it says mtp device and i right click on it and i dont see reformat.When i open the folder that says mtp device theres nothing in it.what should i do to fix that?

i had the same problem. drop it about a foot off the floor, seriously. it fixed mine no problem.

I had exactly the same problem and i got so frustrated that i hit it against a wall and i swear it started working!

LOL I dropped the damn thing before seeing this post unintentionally and the headphone jack broke so now any pair of earbuds I plug in will not be in stereo but in mono!!!
I wish dropping it would fix the smae problem ur having tho with the FAT error. I tried to format the player in NTFS.

Have the same problem, I got the fatal error legend and the computer does not recognize the device. If you got a solution please let me know, thx

power turns on but power bars stop on the frist one.
  • tryed to reset but still have same problme
