Change Motor but turn table does not turning?

test the following steps and fix it. God bless you

Turntable Motor

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor might be worn out. This is a common problem and relatively easy to replace.

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the touchpad and control panel might be defective. This is not common. Test the turntable motor first.

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn and the touchpad has a button to turn the turntable on and off the touchpad might be defective. Check the turntable motor first, that is more likely.

User Control and Display Board

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor might be worn out. This is a common problem and relatively easy to replace. If the motor is good, the user control and display board may be defective.

Main Control Board

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor is usually the problem. If the motor is good the main control board might be defective

Tecnowind DTA01 motor not working

Check the motor for free running with an external voltage, check if the motor is jammed, if so remove to free with lubrication with light oil.
if not the motor is faulty or there is no power from the control board. It can be failure of the driver/relay to the motor.

If the oven is STILL heating, but the carousel isn't turning, this problem is commonly attributed to a turntable motor that has worn out and may need to be replaced. The motor is attached to the center plastic piece (called a turntable shaft, turntable ring or coupler) under the middle of the glass tray. The following link explains how to access and replace the motor:

This is a very simple repair, that usually is not expensive. The price will be determined by the model and manufacturer. This repair can also be performed on an over the range model microwave oven WITHOUT uninstalling it.

You can refer to any of the following websites for comparison:

The first three sites listed have helpful exploded view diagrams to assist you with locating and properly identifying the part(s) you may need.

The average price for a motor is about $35 to $45. If your model number is not listed at all the sites, use the part numbers from the Sears site and use them for your search criteria. The model numbers don't always cross reference, but the part numbers do. The part number for a replacement turn table motor for the model you have listed is W10207571 (listed as item 22 in the parts drawing under the "Internal Controls" parts section.

NOTE: Even though the carousel may not be turning, you can still use the microwave while awaiting parts. You will need to physically rotate whatever you are heating about midway through the cook time to ensure even heating. Early model microwave ovens were not equipped with a rotating carousel and this was the common procedure.

Tray rotation motor does not work

Replacing the turntable motor.

The motor assembly is fixed to the base of the oven usually with two screws and access i obtained by removing the inspection plate directly beneath the motor. It is usally a plug in synchronus motor that revolves at a few revs per minute but the plastic cogs in the motors gear box fail and the motor assembly must be replaced. They are fairly inexpensive and obtainable usually from a domestic appliance repair shop.
If you feel confident, disconnect it from the mains power, remove anything in the cavity and turn it upside down if it is a tabletop model, a little more complicated if it is built in!
Remove the inspection plate and disconnect the motor. Remove the motor and go and get a new one. Re fit it and put the microwave back in its position. Plug it back in, with the turntable and plate. Put a cup of water on the plate inside of the oven and heat for 20 seconds to check the plate goes round.
Hope this helps.

My Jenn Aire Trash Compactor Model TC507B1 does not turn. When I turn the start knob to on position, the compactor makes humming sound, but it does not seem that the ram is moving. Now, I can't even open...

We had the very same problem. Pull the compactor out and unplug the unit. Lay it on its side and remove the bottom. This will expose the chain and gears. On our unit, the plastic sprocket was broken. This part turns the chain to make the ram go up and down. When I called about a local location to buy a new part, I was given 1-800-688-9900 to phone for help. Tell the automated service you want "parts" and you will get an operator. I described the part and she said that is was no longer made in plastic -- it's now metal. The part number she gave me was #675370. I could've ordered the part through them and would receive it in 3 business days. With our zip code, she was able to give me two locations in our area to get the part. One place had the plastic part -- no thanks. The other place was able to get the part in the next day. Hope this helps more than solutions 1-3.

Don't turn the dishe

there are 3 things that can be wrong 1st the stepping motor under the plate could be broken the motor is made up of lots of plastic gears to get to it you will have to turn the unit on its side so you the bottom of the unit remember to take the plate out 1st in the middle of the base of the unit you will see a panel where the motor is this needs to be cut out to gain access to the motor this will have 1 screw holding the motor in place 2nd and while you have the motor out you need to look at the coupling thats the part that the plate sits on as you remove the motor it will fall inside the oven pick it up and look to see if it has a split in the side as when the motor turns if the coupling has a split in it the motor wil just turn inside it 3rd the motor may not be getting any power from the pcb but u will need a test meter for this so try 1 and 2 thn if tht doesnt work it will need to go into a shop

Need to replace turntable motor

There are many different models that use the same motor for the turntable. If your unit is the model # JVM1842BD001 you need the motor # WB26X10038 if you have the JVM1460SJ you need the motor #WB26X10135. You should be ok using a motor from a different model as long as all the numbers and wires match to the original motor itself. BTW, these motors sell on auction sites for about $20-30
