Question about Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Motherboard
Hi. I have a Soyo k7v dragon plus motherboard system that's been working fine for almost ten years up until today when I booted up the pc..the fans started up but I then heard after about 4 seconds a 2 second beep then another 4 sec another 2 second beep and so on continuously with a blank screen..changed the memory..still same issue..help is appreciated!!

Hi! 1 long beep and a 1 short beep is a motherboard failure. it means that you may need to replace your 10 year old motherboard. Since the motherboard was this old already, there will be no chance that you can purchase a part for this to be repaired.

2 beeps = memory problems. Since you get them even after the memory has been replaced then the problem is in the motherboard itself. Check the capacitors for bulging. If you can't find ones or you can't replace them then the motherboard is dead.
