Question about Washing Machines
Hi my awm 1200 is 9yrs old but still washes and spins perfectly except the noise on the spin cycle! Its so loud that you can hear it out in the garden! Any ideas what it could be? Thanks. x

Your machine most probably has had water in the spin bearing. The seal has worn and allowed water to rust the ball bearings which are no longer smooth...Hence the noise! A fairly major job which could also need a new shaft and inner drum. Get quotes, but be prepaired. Too much detergent can also speed up seal failure......Good luck....Nomess
