SOURCE: Samsung P801DWN/XAC washing machine. Drum

I have the same problem, the drum attachment (casting) arms broke in two locations (out of the three available), caused serious havoc ... destroyed the outer plastic drum casing by disloding a screw and then dragging it around and gouging out a deep deep groove in the plastic casing, went right thru in one spot ...

Have to order the front drum (DC61-30346A, $45) and the stainless steel drum/casting assembly (DC97-00785A, $200) and rebuild the whole unit.

Samsung wd9652c8w washing machine tub bearing nos?

Hi Purnachandra.
If you intend doing a repair job yourself you probably only need to contact the distributor of Samsung parts and ask for the individual parts by name.
You should also consider replacing the shaft which is attached to the inner drum. This can become damaged and will not give a good seal..
Try Googling your model number for a parts distributor in your area.
Good luck.

Samsung WF218ANW drum tilted off track

It may be a suspension spring has come off or leg has broken if it is both drums off track.
If it's just the inner drum then the bearings may have failed or the spider that the shaft is connected to may have broken.
Start with the springs at the top and suspension first.

The stainless steel drum has broken away inside my creda excel 1200

This means that the drum support has collapsed due to corrosion.
It entails a complete strip down of washer, and replacing the drum shaft, and possibly new drum bearings and shaft seal also.
It is quite an involved repair, and not to be undertaken lightly.
If the washer is more than 5 years old, it would be more eonomical to replace it with a new washer.

Unit starts, fills, you can hear a whirring noise when motor tries to rotate drum

IF you are lucky, the spline of the motor rotor has stripped out. It is an easy repair (about a 2 on a 1-10 difficulty scale), and the part carries a 5 year warranty (minimum, up to 10 years on newer models) Remove back cover, unscrew bolt at center of motor, pull rotor off. If spline is stripped from rotor, replace rotor and you're done. IF SPLINE IS NOT STRIPPED ....... Oh s***! The drive shaft has broken loose from the three arms which attach it to the drum. (the part is called the "spider") To repair, remove bolt on end of shaft at center of motor. You may have to cut it with an angle grinder, but don't worry about that, because the shaft has to be replaced anyway. Remove motor rotor and stator. Remove washer front, drain hose, fill hose, shock absorbers, support springs, all wires attached to outer drum, and eventually the entire outer drum. Remove bolts between front and back halves of outer tub to allow removal of inner drum. Remove 6 bolts holding 3 arms of spider to back of inner drum. Re-assemble with new spider and new bolt for end of shaft. If you can do it in under two hours, give yourself a big pat on the back. This is about a 9.5 on a 1 - 10 difficulty scale for repairs on this washer.

these machines have a very weak impellor connected to the main shaft of the pump. usually allways break, forntunately it is the cheapest part, unscrew the filter cartridge, pull it out, get your finnger in there and check the impellor for looseness it will be flopping around if its broken, buy a new one and fit it,theres just a few screws and 2 hoses attached.

During spin cycle washer drum knock and seems as if it is out of balance, even when empty

"spider" broken. Cast aluminum bracket that attaches shaft to inner tub is coroded. Spin tub and shaft assembly cost approx $300 to replace. Heard that parts may have lifetime warranty.

Cast alluminium three spikes fitting holding the central shaft of carrier bearings fixed to drum has corroded, need replacement

Sorry for getting you so involved! This is a simple matter of obtaining a new cast alluminium fitting. I am presently trying to obtain from local distributors, but you know what chances are in South Africa! Probably have to come from abroad? Chances being that it could be more economical to buy a new washer!
