SOURCE: it is rattling on the inside, how do i dismantle

Either the lens or one of the baffles inside is loose.

Usually the front lens on a refractor unscrews. However DO NOT disassemble the glass lens (or multiple lens) unless you are absolutely sure how to put the lens back together again.

If you forget we cannot help you.

Can a bad hard drive be repaired

Short answer - Yes BUT ....... it depends what is wrong with it and is it worth repairing?
If your pc simply won't boot, it could be something simple and using UBCD and/or Hirens Boot Disk may help you to get things going again.
If the drive is mechanically broken - that is you can hear it rattle or it keeps going clunk, clunk when you turn the pc on - then you would need to send it away to a specialist to be dismantled and rebuilt. This is expensive, hence my comment about is it really worth repairing.

GE adora front load makes loud rattling sound in spin cycle. nothing in drum. sounds like a ball bearing

its the inner baskets bearings behind this basket as water gets past the rear seal into these bearings and ruins them, you need to dismantle the entire unit to remove the inner basket from the outer tub to replace these bearings

Coins in the drain pump

If it's a top loader and the pump is easily accessible, I would dismantle/have the pump dismantled and the objects removed. Othrewise they can cause future damage internally!

Ps3 Sony console rattles inside

The rattling sound you are hearing is probably from the hard drive of the PSP. I Think you should get your hard drive checked/replaced.

Pokemon Silver wont save!

Not a clue what your friend is talking about, but if your game isn't saving, it's either because the battery that the game uses to keep saved data intact is dead OR that rattling sound inside is said battery.
You may be able to dismantle the cartridge and fix the problem.
These batteries can be replaced and in some cases are to be soldered in.
In other cases, they are simply held by a piece of metal.
I'm not liable for any damage you cause to your game should you decide to fix it yourself.
