Leaking on rinse cycle

When on the rinse cycle all of the water pours from the bottom of washer. It does not come from the connections. They are all tight.

Had a repairman come out yesterday. He said I need a new boot, there is a bearing problem (warranty) and the counterbalance needs to be repaired. Cost for repairs $590. I told him forget it. I bought it new for around $800. So I am looking at a Maytag front loading washer. Maybe it will last longer than the 4 years the Whirlpool lasted!! ugh!!!

My whirlpool steam duet washer won't pour water in the wash cycle

There is no output from the control panel to switch on the inlet valve, so check the inlet valve at this time of the cycle. Also check the water level pressure sensor switch.
Choose another program to confirm if not the controller seems to be suspect.

Although its difficult to say the problem may not be caused by the amount of water but the water temperature.
Most often rinse tempertaure is cold only, however the wash might be warm /hot. A great place to start would be when the machine is filling in wash watch the connectons from the taps to the machine for any leaks in the hoses or connections.

Hope it helps.

During the wash cycle of the 24" combo washer dryer, it leaked

A hose inside the washer is your most likely culprit. On older whirlpool washers they used a plastic hose to run from the pump to the back case of the machine that was pretty susceptible to cracking.

Replace the water valve where your hoses connect to the washer.

Possibly rinsing with cold water, washing with hot.
Check inlet valves for leaks, especially cold (rinse)
Lift the top panel by inserting a flat blade approx 4" from each side at the front to release clips, then top will hinge backwards.
You can see the valves at the rear behind the drum..
You can run the machine with top lifted to see any more leaks.
Also remove front panel via 2 small screws to gain better view.
