Question about Sanyo DRW-1000 DVD Recorder/VCR
We don't know how the lockout got turned on, but now I can't watch "R" rated movies. It is asking me for a code (which I don't know) and to make matters worse, I can't find the remote. Is there any way to disable this function without the remote?
I found the remote, then tried 0000 to unlock, which didn't work. Luckily 1111 did. I figure if I hadn't found the remote, I could have bought a cheap universal one. But all is well now. I still have no idea how the parental control was implemented.
