Evesham z7100 notebook

Welcome to Fixya.

The Evesham z7100 was manufactured by Evesham Technology, which has closed in 2008 due to financial problems.Thus, no support is available for this laptop.

However, to obtain the requested drivers, you can download and install a software like driver detective which will scan your computer and list the missing drivers.

Once the missing drivers are known, you can download them individually on websites like driverguide.com.

Have you tried another hard drive incase your current one is damaged/corrupt. You may also have a faulty system board which you could try and pick up cheap online. But try another Hard Drive First.

how to dissassamble notebook. under it some covers are screwed and must be removed to see ram.

Evesham has now gone into administration so there is no support for their computers.

Once installed and it has scanned jot down the different drivers you need by manufacturer and and search driverguide.com for the drivers unless you want to pay for driver detective.

A lot of times the heatsinc on the cpu will fill with dust and lint, when this happens the fan goes into overdrive to try and cool the cpu , this not only will be noisy, but over time could cause other more serious problems.
I would suggest having it cleaned , inside and out. Make sure dry air is used to blow out the fan ports..if that doesn't fix it, post again and we'll try the next steps..

Try finding a wireless switch. if you cant find it on any side of the laptop, then check the keyboard for a key indicating wireless. On most laptops you press that key in combination with another one labeled fn in blue

Go to evesham homepage (http://www.evesham.com/), and tell them you problem, they will tell you what to do to restore the laptop.
