I have an original Xbox 360 console and an original Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter. I cannot connect to the Internet, but when I plug the adapter into the Xbox 360, the light turns red for a...

you can not fix it yourself, or you'll void xbox 360 warranty policy. If your xbox is flashing red, you have set off the red-ring-of-death, also known as (rrod) the ring itself is telling you your xbox has been damaged and needs to be fixed (not by you tho, but by the xbox company). This can be mostly caused by poor airflow thru the system and overheating from the cause of it. For future reference, try to research about keeping your xbox from having this happen. One thing you will less likely find in this search for help , is that you should avoid having your xbox 360 standing up. I know you can have it standing up the long way, because it looks more awsome this way, but the thing about that is, your giving the console less air ventilation from flowing thru the xbox that is needed. put the xbox on its flat side with all air vents showing and not blocked. This will cause less of a chance from getting (rrod) again.

My xbox keeps shuting down due to ventalation issues. Ive tried to clean the system with an air dust remover but i still keeps shuting off. My fan runs super fast all the time too.

Most likely, you have your Xbox in an area where it does not receive proper air flow and ventilation. Your fan is overworking itself from the dust and the heat of the area you're sitting it in.

Try moving your Xbox to a more open area after cleaning it, and be sure to let it dry out after using compressed air.

Waiting for multiplayer online game to start when suddenly the xbox just turned itself off abruptly . i have since played for twenty mins without a problem, should i be worried

It probably protected itself from a power surge. Or, your power plug isn't in all the way and it wiggled itself loose just far enough to lose power. I wouldn't worry about it, but if it happens again just contact xbox support at 18004myxbox

Xbox original

Odd. when our xbox worked, if you turned it off with the tray open or closing, it would still shut. If the warranty is still in effect, get it to a repairman ASAP. if not, you (and maybe a couple friends) will need to fix it yourself. I'm betting a faulty solder connection at a transistor or relay at the power supply
