Question about BenQ PB6100 Multimedia Projector

Benq pb 6100 projection from left rear of room

Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to mount my benq pb 6100 from the left rear of the room. The only thing I can adjust right now is the keystone but what I need is to make the right side of the image smaller in height. I am using the regular video input and using the projector with my DVD player. Please help.

Thanks!

Hi there

This is unfortunatelly not possible at all on the PB Series Projectors. I'm a ASP Technician for BenQ Projectors and know then like the palm of my hand.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Ok. It still might be the bulb, if not make sure it is plugged in to a working outlet. Also, if that doesn't work unplug, wait 1 hour, push the power button (with it unplugged) then plug it back in. If nothing fixes your problem, it is the power supply.

Bought a new XGA projector.../

It appears from researching that the native res for the Benq is too low 800x600 so I will never get a good picture even though most of the images I install are at least 10meg originals. Also the new projector will work in a bright room the Benq will not.

HI
I think you should make sure of the cable connections. Exactly make sure all the cables are connected correctly especially the one of the name "Video".
I hope it does work.

Benq 6110 - mounting projector onto ceiling

You need to navigate to the 'advance' menu and under the 'mirror' setting select 'ceiling front' or 'ceiling rear' depending on whether you are front or rear projecting. It should all be on page 29 of the manual.

Hope this helps

Pip position

Hi there

The PIP ( picture in picture ) is only to determine where the Menu block itself will show on your screen.

Try the Vertical and Horisontal shift in the Menu Options.
