Question about Apple aluminum 13-inch MacBook laptop- Intel 2.1GHz l Core 2 Duo, 1GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 320 GB HD, ... Mac Notebook
I would like to unblock the dvd player on my mac book. how can i do this?thanks
Okay, here are ALL your options, easiest first.
1. Boot up with the eject button pressed (top right-hand on the keyboard)
2. Boot up with the left-hand mouse/trackpad button held down
3. The firmware eject (a bit more serious) Boot up with Command, Option, O and F buttons held down. Type eject-cd at the prompt and the cd will pop out. Type mac-boot and you are rock n' rolling!
4. Finally, from the boys at Rent-A-Nerd... http://web.me.com/alexthenerd/Rent-A-Nerd_(UK)/TopTips/Entries/2008/6/25_Useful_Trick_No.2_%3A%3A__Ejecting_a_Disk_Thats_Stuck_In_A_Slot_Drive.html
Not for the faint-hearted.
