Hi. You cannot. Otherwise, you might accidentally delete your files from there. You might have saved files on the SD Card using a different Operating System. Try to use a computer with the same operating system from where you saved your files.

Apacer sd card

Hi Eric Chen,
there could be a couple of reasons the sd card is write protected,

1) Write protection enabled
- If it's the standard size sd card there's a switch on the left hand side.

2) May need to be reformatted
- First backup anything on the sd card to another location (ie: a folder on the desktop)

Go into you computer/file manager (some times called my computer) select the drive letter of the sd card (may listed as removal disk)
right click -> format, check that the right size is specified then click format (double check correct drive)
Then copy the files back.

Also you maybe able to use your camera to format the sd card instead.

You didn't specify the make and model of the camera or the type of "camera disk", so I'm going to assume your camera uses SD cards.

SD cards allow you to store digital information; you can use SD cards with most electronic devices like digital cameras and computers.
An SD card will become write protected if the switch on the card is placed on the "Lock" position. This prevents any information on the card from being altered or deleted.
If you wish to add, delete or change any of the information, you must remove the write protection.
Remove the SD card from the computer or digital device.
Locate a switch on the bottom or side of the SD card.
Move the switch to the "Unlocked" position to remove the write protection.
If you do not have a switch, you will need to remove the write protection with your computer.
Insert the SD card into your computer's card reader or back into the digital device.
You can now save and change information on the card.
