My son's Sea Monster game tells him to press the L button to attack. The problem is, there is no L button on the DS Lite. Every button I press makes him move, not lock on to the prey. What is the L button?

Yes, but only on DS/DS Lite. There is a small panel at the front of the console on the bottom. Open it up and there is a slot. You may need to blow a little in it. Then on the menu, press a certain button (Sorry, can't remember what it says) and it will say something along the lines of 'Play GBA game'. Simply insert your game and press the button. Hope this helps.

The game changes to the language your ds is set to. Remove all cartidges and start the ds. Press the setup icon on the bottom of the touch screen (in the middle and looks like a tiny ds).
Press the pink wrench icon.
Press the globe icon.
Press the 'A' button.
Press 'B' twice.
Press 'A' to shut down.
Now play in english.
