Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
First, go into iPhoto and create a new file (rename it whatever you want, but remember the name) Then plug the memory card reader into the usb port of your computer. Next, insert your memory card into the reader. A program will come on automatically on your computer to detect your memory card. I'm not sure of all the individual steps, but what you want to do is view all the files on your memory card. There maybe be many options to transfer, copy, etc., and you can experiment with those after you learn one sure method. Once you keep clicking on the options, and see the pictures opened up on your screen, select them all, and then move them to the folder you created in iPhoto (open it up to see the folder). Once you move them, they will also be erased from your memory card. If you want to transfer them to your computer, but keep them on the memory card, you can copy them to your folder. My son has the mac, but he's out in Calif., and I never got to play with it much, so I'm just offering a way to solve your problem in a general, not step-by-step way. Wish I had more detail, but once you get the card reader hooked up to the computer, you can always look at it, since it will be represented as another hard drive (E:, or G:, etc). Good luck, hope this helps.
