It sounds to me like you have endured a power surge and it has cooked the unit // i would replace it as surges do so much damage it normally writes the unit off but your power company is liable to replace it (if it was a surge)

The power supply unit in the device is bad. IF you are great with electronics, you could repair it but I would send it in.

F 70 APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY

i have also the same problem with a panasoni SA-HT40. when i turn it on I see on the display OVERLOADED, and then thue unit turns off.

Error Message


The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.
