Turn off Safe mode

safe mode exists to boot into windows and fix problems, you can only get past it by fixing said problems, they could be drivers or programs, typically booting with the pc. I would suggest unhooking the internet, and switching all progams from booting with pc, Use the keyboard shortcut "Windows Key + R" and the "Run" window will open. In the text box, write "msconfig" and press Enter or OK and the MsConfig window will open. Also, in Windows 10, Windows 8, you can open the Run window from the shortcuts menu in the bottom left corner. Then disable all active non microsoft programs, reboot and hopefully you should be in normal windows, you can then enable programs one at a time and narrow down what the problem is.

Every time I turn my laptop on something always pops up saying there alot of things wrong with I't how can I make it stop

That is called Ransom-ware. You need to remove it. There is actually nothing wrong with your computer except this Malware will be slowing it down!

Download the free version of MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.

Execute the file and when the program opens, Update it. Then run the program. Delete (Quarantine) everything it finds.

Then boot your computer to Safe Mode. This is usually achieved by tapping F8 as the computer is booting up. Run the program again, this time doing a full scan. It may take an hour or more. Delete everything it tells you too.

Reboot normally.

Let me know how you get on and if it fixes the popups. After that we can use another free program to clear all the junk off your computer, but let's fix the Malware first.

Why is my computer running slow and why is it taking me so long to open my searches.

Make sure you have a recognized anti virus program running like Microsoft Essentials or Norton Antivirus. Then run Advanced System Care from That should sort your malware issues out.

Computer slow to start, open files, load web pages, slow shutting off.

try to delete large file or free space your disk , you can see your CPU proccess in task manager if your cpu work 100 % ,that makes your laptop become slow , try to disable program on start up windows->run->msconfig disable program and then try to maintain your laptop performance with utilities like advance system care or tune up utilities , defrag your harddisk , if your laptop still slow , try to reinstall your OS if this happen , then your hardware have trouble

Bug in program.... either reset computer date to any month or year prior to 7/2013 ( and set check boxes to not to set clock over internet other automatic time adjust ). OR use a stand alone program to open PCDJ like " RUN AS DATE" ( keeps computer clock normal for other programs and restore,,, etc. ). But requires that you open it in that program each time.
If anyone hears of a better fix... please post.

Fix-It Utilities is a program by Avanquest that is marketed as an all-around computer protection and enhancement tool.
Fix-It Utilities scans your computer for potential problems and fixes them automatically. Additionally, it monitors your computer in real time to alert you about hardware and software issues before they can cripple your computer.
If you are looking for a utility to handle your computer maintenance for you, Fix-It Utilities is one program that you might consider selecting.

Double-click the downloaded program file if you purchased the digital version of Fix-It Utilities directly from Avanquest.
If you purchased the boxed retail edition, insert the installation disc and allow a moment for the Fix-It Utilities installation program to load.
Click "Next" when the Fix-It Utilities Installation Wizard appears.
Read the terms of the Avanquest license agreement carefully before continuing.
If you are willing to abide by the terms, click the "Accept" button to continue.
Enter the name that you would like to register Fix-It Utilities under, and then type your 24-character product key exactly as it is shown in the product packaging or the email sent by Avanquest when you purchased Fix-It Utilities online.
Click "Next."
Select the radio button labeled "Complete" to install all of the features of Fix-It Utilities, and then click "Next" twice.
The installation utility begins copying the files for Fix-It Utilities to the hard drive.
When this process is complete, the installation utility displays a screen with four check boxes.
Use the four check boxes on the screen to indicate whether you would like Fix-It Utilities to check for and install updates automatically, whether you would like the program to make snapshots of your system for recovery in the event of a problem, whether you would like the program to monitor your computer for malware and viruses and whether you would like the program to scan your email.
Click "Next," and then click "OK" and "Finish."
Fix-It Utilities is installed.
If you used the check box to configure Fix-It Utilities to check for updates automatically, the program begins scanning the Internet for updates immediately.

if you still have no luck there are freeware alternatives on the internet as well as the chkdsk utility.
You could run the chkdsk disk utility
Click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your Hard Drive.
or an easier way to run the chkdsk utility
Windows 7 chkdsk
Click start control panel administrative tools computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools click check now click start two boxes
automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
have no input while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may further damage your computers Operating System and Hard Drive
JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again.

I keep having a message come up saying my computer if frozen and asks if I want to wait or kill page is there anything I can do to fix this

It can happen at times. When the processors of the computer are working too hard. Usually you will see it happens when you have many programs opened or many Chrome tabs/pages opened at once.

You need more GHZ to fix this (to make your processors work faster and not have to freeze)

Hope It helps!

From Microsoft Support Forum:

I would suggest you to refer to the Microsoft article provided below and use the "FIX IT" provided in the link on your computer for resolution -
If the issue persists, then the default program setting for the ".exe" to open must have got changed. So I would suggest you to reset the setting for default program.
You may refer to the below mentioned link to set the default program to open with a particular file type -

Hope this helps. Let us know the results.

DVD OR CD not drive by CD-ROM

Option One:
To fix it, open “My Computer”, or “Windows Explorer”, find the drive icon for your CD/DVD player/burner and right-click on it. When the popup menu opens, choose, “Properties”. Click on the “Auto Play” tab. Click on “Select an Action to Perform”. Click on the “Restore Defaults” button and click on the “Apply” button. Then click on “Prompt me each time to choose an action” and click on the “Apply” button again. (Note: If you want it to open in a particular program each time you put in your music CD, instead of clicking on “Prompt me…” choose the program you want it to open each time you put in your CD. Now click on “Apply” and “OK” and restart your computer. Now put in a music CD and see if it works as it should.
