Question about Furuno FCV-582L GPS Receiver
Check the voltage getting to the device. You can set this to display using the menu. These sounders need about 11 volts minimum to work. I had a similar problem until I installed an additional battery to supply my accessories.

You likely have inadequate supply to your helm. Otherwise, there is interference being generated. Try turning things on slowly one at a time, check your batteries and ground connections.
