    hi tech17

thanks for the reply,i will have to take the oven out completely and check the wiring colours, its a bit dark looking through the oven. When you say calrods are you talking about the actual ends of the element where the spade connectors are,if so i have 2 of those and just one spade connection between the two of them but will take the oven out and give you more info thanks again cottager

i am trying to replace the element in a neff oven and have a new one. But when I removed the old one it was a bit stuck so I pulled it and only two wires remained attached, there is a third wire that may have been connected, does any one have a wiring diagram?

are you saying the old element had three calrod elements one on each side and one in the middle and what color are the wires

Hi, I am replacing the element that sits around the fan. When I took the old element off, to of the wires were disconnected. I have 3 spade connectors, 2 spade connectors each with a double white wire with red markings and one spade connector with white wire with black marking marking. The element has a double spade connecter at each end of the coil and an earth terminal in between. Can you advise on connection please?

Hi there the solution is simple neff have done away with the earth connection on the element it's now earthed through the screws which hold it in place to the cavity just tape the earth with insulating tape and secure out of the way of the fan, hope this is of some help

Cal rod is the stuff that the element is made of now if you look at the end of the elements themselves on your new one one is brown one is white put the white wires on the white end of the element and and the browns on the other end i don't have a wiring diagram but im guessing that they are using the extra as a junction for either the other element or to connection for the fan light etc

Right hi tech17
finally got the old element out, there is one white, and one white with a black line running through it,they look like a corded type of insulation and the third one has 2 wires which came from the middle spade connx,i,m assuming is the earth connx, they look white as well but look slightly brown due to staining,so it seems to be just a problem of where to put the earth wires cheers cottager

The power to the fan and thermostat is the fault. You will need to trace wiring from these elements to power source and I suspect that where the power cord meets the oven is where you'll find the cause.

No heat on bottom oven. fan running but not heating up

Neff fan oven element video. 1, If the fan motor . in the back of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on (normally little red light), but there is no heat then you will probably need a new oven element, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available from our website these can be tested with a electric meter.
To gain access to the NEFF element .you will have to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will see the fan and element,. if you look closely at the element .you will probably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes however there is no evidence of a fault but the element is open circuit ie: broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are held in place by nuts from the rear of the machine.
2, If your NEFF fan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning the food more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor is working you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element is heating but the fan motor is not blowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is a little more expensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have the opposite problem ie: your oven is over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your NEFF oven thermostat
4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer is if your NEFF oven is not working at all ie: no heat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTO mode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Hi, The main problem I find with this fault is the fan element has blown. This usually cannot be seen without taking the fan cover off inside the oven. Thanks.

Please help Fan not working in Neff U1451

Hi, the fan is one part and the bulb another. They are not connected. If the bulb isn't working simply unscrew the bulb lens and replace the bulb. About the fan motor, sometimes they cease up because the build up of grease at the back of the oven. You can try to remove the insid back plate that covers the element and fan, and try to rotate the fan manually. Try to clean it and test again. Last resource, it needs a new fan motor.
Cheers

Removing a Fan

It should not be neccessery to remove fan to fit new element, I have never had to do so, but if you need to remove the fan blade, then unscrew the nut clockwise, as though you were tightening it, holding the fan blade as you are undoing the nut
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hi.

Yes ,it is the element.

You need to remove the panel at the rear of the oven, this will give you access to the element.

Good luck
