Question about NetGear WGT624 Wireless Router

My router is plugged in but the lights are very dim. They are to the point that I can hardly see them on. There is also no signal from the router.

If your routers internet is still working fine , that only means the led are just busted. If you want it replace call the 1888netgear and they will check if your unit is still under warranty.

You can also reset your unit to factory default and see if the lights will change. But remember resetting the unit will reset it to factory default settings that means you need to set it up again to work on the internet.
You can call 1888netgear for assistance.

I have a power problem with my WRT150N. All lights light up when pluged in. Then the lights go off. But the power light is dim and the wireless light is really dim. The router is humming also.


Base from the description of your problem this is a sign if a hardware failure already on your router meaning router is already dead, what we can try to do here to revive the router is to do a hard reset on the router.
Follow this in resetting the router using a pen of paper clip you need to press and hold the reset button of the router for 30 seconds while power is ON and after that power OFF the router for 10 seconds and power it back ON and then check if all the lights are still the same if still the same the router is already bad and if its still under warranty have it replace.

Signals and brake lights dim when brakes applied


it could be a bad connection in the stoplight wiring most likely the earth wire check all the wiring connectors to make sure they are plugged in properly.....hope this helps.....cheers

I have a 2005 s type left rear signal light dim and right one comes on dimly


This is normally a sign of a poor earthing point or corroded connections within the lighting panel.
Open the lighting cluster and clean all the bulb contact points and check cables earthing points.

Can I add a 2nd wireless router at another location?


Your best bet is to use a wireless extender, this will extend the range.

SMC2804WBR router: The lights are on but nobody's home.


Sounds like the router is about to die. I had the same issue with a wireless router a few years ago. It would broadcast but I would not be able to get onto the wireless no matter what I did but plugging straight into the modem and it worked just fine. If you've done a hard reset and it is still not connecting or staying connected, it is about time to replace the router.

Hi! you have blinking lights on the router, we need to do the hard reset on the router. how? there is a button on the back of the router you need sharp pointed pen or pin to press it. you need to press it for 30secs after 30 secs while the reset button is press, unplug the power plug at the back of the router and plug in after 2secs while the reset button is press and press and hold it for 30secs.. release it and unplug the power plug for 15secs and plug it back in..this should work, the power light should steady and the other lights like port 1 to 4 if there is a device connected there it should stat solid and the wireless light will blink if there is a wireless device trying to connect to the wireless network. if not..and the device is still under warranty, call linksys tech support for replacement and they are going to replace it for free and if the device is still on 30 days, u can return it to the store were u purchase it..
