Question about Toshiba Axiom 80GB kit for Tecra 9000 Portege 4000 Slim Select Bay (AXT2480) Hard Drive
I bought a used tec toshiba electronic printing scale sl-9000 recently and it worked perfectly well at the supplier's shop. however, the scale was delivered to me two weeks after. after unwrapping the package and plugging it to the electricity mains, the tower display came with an error 5001 and a buzzer (kind of audible sound) went off. this has remain constant on the display while the scale will not respond to the pressing of any key.
Please help come up with a solution.

SOURCE: Toshiba Hard Drive Crash
if the datas aleady deleted, then you have nothing to lose. Right ?
What you need is a 2.5 to 3.5 inch IDE ribbon cable connector.
this will enable you to put the drive into an IDE slot on the PC internal motherboard ( primary/secondary )
Unless it,s already 3.5"
boot the computer, see if it recognises the drive. And format it.
then you may be able, to re-fit back into the external casing, and use as an external again.

see on icon tray there will be an icon for you monitor.
Right click on it, it will pop-up a menu, Navigate 'Rotatio' and select 0 degree. Then it will be back as usual.

Heard back from Toshiba. They said to unplug the TV, wait at least 3 minutes, and then plug it back in. This should allow it to reset itself. Sounded too simple, but after doing just that the tv has worked fine for the last three days! Toshiba noted that if this didn't resolve the problem we should contact them to have a Toshiba Authorized service person come check out the tv. It worked for us, hopefully it'll work for you too. Good Luck
