Question about Samsung S1050 Digital Camera
I use Energizer e2 Lithium batteries and these will power the camera for the longest time. They are expensive, but they will last much longer than anything else. The battery meter in the camera display will show FULL up to the the time these batteries will no longer work, so always have fresh ones available. Since these are not rechargeable, I set the camera battery type to Alkaline, although I don't think it makes any difference.

In the menu, there's an option for "batteries"- make sure that's set to Ni-Mh

I use Energiser 1300mAh recharchables & they last a long time even using the video or flash.

Please forgive me if I am being stupid but those 2400ah batteries have to be charged before use - I assume that was done.
The first thing I would have done would be to try another set of alkaline batteries as the originals could be discharged.
This is solution is probably too obvious to be true but then you never know.
