Before starting the dishwasher again, kill the excess suds by putting half a cup of MILK into the dishwasher. Sounds strange but it works. If you don't kill the excess suds, they will keep coming back until they gradually flush out, which can take several washing cycles.

Ok, the machine flooded and the water has leaked into the bottom of the machine, 1st turn off the machine at the power point. 2nd- open the top drawer and remove the suds from it. 3rd. open the bottom drawer and look under it to the bottom of the cabinet . that is where the water will be. use a torch if you have to. now you need to dry the water up. you can do this with a hair dryer or a fan heater. the reason the machine is flashing F1 is because the water has triggered the flood switch and you need to dry up that water. please reply 4 more help.once dryed F1 will disappear. please make sure all the suds are removed from the top drawer. good luck

Press the cancel button twice to cancel the error code. There should be an error code flashing -- for example 'F02'.

My son used liquid dish soap in the dishwasher - what do I do? The bottom of the dishwasher is completely full of soap and bubbles. Thank you

Takes some towels and carefully soak up the soap. There is a heating element inside the dishwasher so you don't want to be rough.

Fisher Pakel dish drawer sends F1 alarm flashing. It usually happens when there is a drop or change in water pressure. Have had 3 repairs on this disappointing product. Only repair person for Fisher...

F1 is a flood fault ir happens when the machine detects water on the base of the unit, to clear this fault you can remove the bottom draw and use a towel to clean up the water this should clear the fault, But usually there is only water on the base if the lid is not closing properly, this can happen due to you putting long utensils in and the lid cannot pull down or you have faulty lid actuators witch is probably the case and they wont pull the lid down correctly, So if the lid wont come down properly water splashes over the top and floods the base. :)

Laptop keyboard is not responding & as far as I know no liquids have been spilled on it. Is there a key that my son might have used to disable it? It is a HP laptop

probably your son might lock the keyboard what you have to do is that on the keyboard you will see where they wrote Fn key beside the ctrl key hold or press the key, then on top of the functional key i.e F1 to F12 among those keys you will see where they draw or shown something like key or padlock press the key in other to open your keyboard.

In case it doesn't work try the second option.

well, what i can say is that try to loose the laptop you will see where they wrote kb at the back of the laptop then loose those screw after loosing it, then bring out the keyboard with the flex then dust it out.
if it those not work again change the keyboard.

I have a single draw Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. I stupidly put washing up liquid in the dishwasher which resulted in a F1 problem. Water started leaking under the draw and onto my floor. I turned the...

ok , F1 means your flood switch has activated, which is underneath the drawer. now they show the F1 fault because of 2 reasons.1st there is still water underneath drawer causing switch to activate. 2nd your activator board which has the flood switch attached is faulty reading your posting it has been about 15 days since the fault happened. the water should have dryed around switch by now. if there is power to the unit and it is still coming up with F1 fault then possibly you have damaged the activator board. please reply and tell me if you have power on or off at the present time. to fix the problem it is alittle bit involved but i can guide you thru it when you reply .good luck

Put 2 tablespoons of oil into the water at the bottom of the dishwasher it will help break up the suds. Sprinkle as well ordinary table salt liberally across the suds to disperse them. Try to drain the unit as much as possible, soaking up any residual water or suds with a dry towel. Let the machine fill again, and repeat the process if necessary. Good luck !
