It must be drained into a sewer line. If drained under the house such as a crawl space on the ground you will receive mildew throughout your whole house ruining clothes, leather products, & your health

I need to know if the internal drain and or pipe mechanism has check valve

There is a check valve on this washer and they are usually found inside of the drain hose itself. That being said there should still be a u trap or p trap installed where the machine drains into, because where the drain hose meets the drain it usually is not air tight

I have an old home that has a very space drain pipe. I bought a new Maytag top load washing machine. The drain pipe is too large for the drain pipe. 2 plumbers have told me the drain pipe will have to...

Whirlpool now own Maytag and with a W/P top load machine there is an adaptor which reduces the diameter of the drain hose. Not knowing the diameters of your drain hose, or the plumbing of your house, I can't say for sure that this is a remedy. However it's worth trying. Contact a Whirlpool stockist and see if the adaptor is the correct size for your new Maytag. Or you may be able to drain the new machine into a laundry tub which then flows into the house drain. This is a normal way of 'taking up the slack'.
I'm surprised your plumbers didn't suggest it.
Good luck Nomess

THE WATER KEEPS RUNNING AND NOT FILLING UP

That means it is running out somewhere. The outlet hose is probably too low down.

Have bosch dishwasher water will not drain out what should we do?

Hello, I would first suggest accessing the drain hose under the sink and check for blockage where it attaches to the house plumbing, it doesn't take much to prevent proper draining. If it doesn't appear blocked, try draining into a bucket while you have the drain hose off, this will determine if there is a clog elsewhere. Let me know what you find and we'll follow up from there if necessary. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

"OE" message

OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!

I have a Hoover washing machine, its a front loader, I don't have the exact model in front me at the moment. I recently moved house, and yesterday after re-plumbing my washing machine, I put the washing...

If water remains in the drum after the drain cycle, the unit will not go into the spin cycle. There may be a couple of reasons for your problem.
Make sure the drain hose is raised above the machine hose outlet to create a siphon effect. The drain hose needs to have a loop in it to work correctly. You can tie a string around the hose and hook it on the water valve creating a loop in the hose. Raise the loop of the drain hose so the top of the loop height is at the center of the washer drum.

Washing machine not draining

If you are confident you can do it pull your pump off washing machine and pull the pump houseing apart most will come apart and make sure there is nothing in the pump maybe a small piece of plastic or other item in it. you could also try taking the hoses off the pump and just flush water through it backwards this will also sometimes work I have come across this a lot and normally it is something in the pump interupting the water flow. There may also be sand or small pebbles in the drain holes under the adgitator if flushing the pump doesn't help check under the adgitator for something in the holes. Hope this helps

Washing machine

If your drain hose is laying flat on the floor it needs to be lifted higher than the top of your machine to allow the water to remain in the tub. If it is lifted then check the drain standpipe where the drain hose attaches to the plumbing and verify that it does not have an air tight seal if it does then make sure that there is a place for air to enter the drain right where the drain hose attaches to your house plumbing.
