Question about Kitchen Ranges

2 Answers

We own 2 VX42L tvs, bought right before Circuit City went out of business in Nov/08. One of the tv screens started flickering constantly several months later and was replaced by your company since it was under warranty. Now the second tv is doing the same thing. We talke with 1 representative that said there was nothing we could do. We called another representative that said to find one on the web site and he might could give us a small per centage off. Is Vizio such a sorry tv that we have to buy a new one in less than 2 years? Do they all end up with this same problem?

How do you get in touch with this technical department? Why did Vizio suggest we try to sell this last one for parts unless its too expensive to fix? Do you know what's wrong with it?

Hi, sorry about the problem you are going through with the Vizio tv, actually they don't all end up the same way with your and i believe you wre probably unlucky to have had one with a factory fault problem, that was why they replaced the first one for you.
You can contact their technical department and book for a repair instead of buying a new one which will cost more. They will be willing to fix it for a token..

Take care

Hi, then if Vizio has told you to sell the faulty tv in parts because it is expensive to fix, then i think it will be a good idea to do off with the faulty one and get a new one because there is no guarantee that after spending a lot of money on the faulty one, it won't develop a new fault again..

    Take care

Polaroid tv 2700 dead

I have to tell you that I'm finding that this is about the life expectancy of the first generation LCD TV's. It could be fixed/repaired for between $100 to $200 at a good TV Service Shop.
You may just want to put that money into another TV!

Your warranty should very well be honored and yes, the warranty does start right when you leave the store as long as you have the original receipt, otherwise, they might just honor the production date via serial number. If you have the original receipt, then you need to tell them this and speak to someone higher up, like a manager. It is not your fault Circuit City went out of business.

Vertical lines across my entire screen

My 42" Samsung Plasma HDTV HP-R4252 has a 2" vertical strip of green pixels down the right side of the screen.

My 3 year warranty with Circuit City expires in Nov 2008.. so I hope I'm covered.. can't call until the morning.

Samsung said it might be a logic board problem.. but they want almost $2000 to fix. I might as well buy another TV if Circuit City can't fix it.
