Can't get drum off

once tire is off get a large hammer (2 - 3 ) pound and hit drum several times on the face of drum and along the outer area to brake it free, most times the center of drum rusts to axle shaft causing it to stick. dont be afraid to hit the bastard !! and then use larger screwdriver and install behind the drum between the back plate and pry off while hitting opposite side from the back with hammer. I recommend putting on lug nut just enough to cover the threads on lugs so you do not accidently hit them with hammer. and yes you will !! then remove nuts upon drum removal

Hi, I have 90 AJC 06 GC. AEG single oven. At thhe moment when the oven is turned off the cooldown fan will not turn off so I have to turn it of at the main fuse box. Also sometimes the oven turns itself...

The oven cooldown fan will sometimes run for 10 to 15 minutes after turning the oven off. This enables the outer shell of the oven to cool down. Most ovens also have an inbuilt thermal overload in the outer shell. If the temperature in the outer shell gets too hot it will open circuit the oven power until it cools down a bit.

The power electric was run over by mower -unit has no electical power

You could bring it to a repair shop where they will probably install a new power cord. The now-shortened power cord can be fitted with a new plug, and used as before instead - for a fraction of the cost.

From what I can tell, the pressure washer is a 120 volt type. Purchase a replacement plug - called a "cord cap". The most common configuration is pictured below:

steve_con_4.jpg

A 15 amp / 125 volt male cord cap made by Leviton.

Your's is likely rated at 125V/ 15A (like the one above). This means there's 2 parallel blades and a ground pin - like most grounded plugs in your home. If unsure, bring the cut off section of the power cord to a hardware store to select an identical cord cap. You'll want to purchase the type of cord cap that has terminal screws - not the type without screws. The packaging of the cord cap will indicate how much of the cord jacket and individual wire insulation to remove. A little more or less won't make it impossible to do - but don't deviate too much from these dimensions for the best results. Once the cord has been stripped correctly - Disassemble the cord cap body from the outer shell by removing the screws on the front. Loosen or remove the 2 screws at the cord grip end and slip the shell over the end of the power cord.

Bring the cord cap body to the cord. The body will have 3 screws. One each silver (or light colored), bronze (or dark colored) and green. Loosen all the screws - do not completely remove them. Twist all the strands of each wire so that they are bundled together and there are no stray wires sticking out. Do this for each white, black and green wires. The black wire will connect to the bronze colored screw, the white wire to the silver screw and the green to the green colored screw. You can either insert the stripped wires into the small holes at the back of the terminal screws, or wrap them around the screw terminals themselves. The best way is to wire from the back - but if you choose to wrap around the screws, be sure all the small wires are under the screw head. Tighten the screws and tug the wires one at a time to make sure they are held firmly in place.

Once satisfied that the wires are connected correctly and tight - slide the outer shell towards the cord cap body. Align the screws with the holes in the outer shell. The parts will only fit together one way - so don't try to force it together. Tighten the screws in the front and then install / tighten the screws at the cord end to grip the cord. This clamp should be firm - but not to the point of crushing the cord. Test in a ground fault protected outlet and you're done!

I hope this helps.. please rate this reply - thanks!

All 3 fuses blown on amp worked fine for years

if all your fuses are blowing, you are crossing over or arching somewhere. Check you wires connecting to the amp and make sure everything is tight and that no loose strands are touching other wires around it. Hopefully the amp isn't just coroding out under the outer shell causing an internal short.

How do I change the Drivers side Turn signal bulb in the mirror?

Actually the first answer was right.  On my 2007 Sprinter chassis, the side mirrors have an upper flat mirror and a lower convex mirror.  The upper mirror comes off exactly as described; by tilting it so that it faces down, and then gently lifting it from the top to slide it off the track. (On my sprinter the mirrors are heated, so there are wires that remain attached when you slide it off. This reveals three screws that you can get at with a torex screw driver without needing any flexible shafts etc.  It appears that there is a fourth screw or clip of some sort on the bottom, but I was not able to figure out how to get the bottom convex mirror off to get at it.  That would enable the removal of the full shell. Even without that bottom screw I was able to flex the shell enough to get the turn signal lens assembly out.  But removing it entirely requires reaching in with needle nosed pliers and rotating the bulb assembly a quarter turn, and then reversing the whole assembly to get it back.  In my case I was replacing the turn signal lens, but it should work the same for replacing the bulb. Good luck.

I have a kdc-mp435u and when i connect the subs woofers to it,it dissent put out enough out put Signal to it and when im driving some times it give signal the woofers cussing them to hit heartier. I check...

did you plug your rca signal wires into the subwoofer ouput rca's? if so you can control the level and frequency of the sub on the face in the audio menu. if this is not the issue try new rca cables. you can run them outside the car first just to test. another issue is make sure you have proper grounding on the head unit and amp. also if your rca cables acccidently touch power they can blow a fuse or trace inside the radio causing the rca's to lose ground (you will have low audio with lots of humming noise). you can check this by jumpering a small wire from the radio frame to the outer shield of the rca jack while it is all plugged in. if the sound gets louder and cleaner you can secure this wire in place by soldering it or fixing the circuit board itself.
