If the worldnet.att account is no longer active, sorry, but there's no way for you to recover the contact information.

The only thing that you could do is to contact your email provider (worldnet.att) and have them to temporary enable the account, and once enabled, import the contact info to your computer.

Of you may ask them if they can recover the contact info for you through the email account is disabled.

Thank you and good luck!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I would like to change my email address

You cant. All you have to do is to setup another account and inform all yours contacts about new email. Change all your subscriptions linked to old email. Keep old email inbox for few weeks before delete or keep forever as a secondary account. Most email services allow for automatic email forwarding from one account to another.

How can I set up my accout, please help

You can create your Google account by going to the link https://accounts.google.com/signup and following the on-screen instructions. It is recommended to keep a note of all the information like the username, password, security question, security answer, secondary email ID, contact number etc. that you may provide while creating the account. This will help you to recover your account easily in case you face login issues anytime in future. To know more about creating a Google account, you can refer to the following Google support page:

Hope this will help you.

Cannot remember my gmail account

Most email addresses are kept forever.
If you cannot remember an old Gmail address of yours, Google has a way for you to try to recover it.

Once you recover the email, you can use it just as you used to.
You'll be able to import contacts, keep your Google Calendar up to date and more.

You only need to remember the other email that you used to sign up for your Gmail account to recover the Gmail address.

Open your Web browser and navigate to the Gmail homepage.
Click "Can't access your account?" under the log in boxes.

Select "I forgot my username" on the list of issues provided.
Click the link to the "Username recovery page."

Enter your recovery or secondary email address that you provided when you created the account and click "Submit."

Enter the distorted letter code and click "Submit" again. This is to help with the security of your account.

Open the email of the recovery/secondary email you provided to get your username.

I want my old yahoo account back

Well, have you tried recovering your password? Or even contacting the Yahoo admins with your sign-up information? Those would be the easiest and first steps.

I want to retrieve all my old emails from my Gmail account to Yahoo (for back up reasons). How do I do that? all the solutions I tried works only for new emails arriving and not for my old ones.

Hi,

You can import Contact in yahoo.below is the procedure
1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page, then MAIL OPTIONS...you will be in the GENERAL mode...then click on CONTACTS.(left side of the screen)..once in click on TRANSFER CONTACTS TO YAHOO...
2. You will be prompted to re-enter your password as a security measure.
3. Next is a permissions page which goes over legal information. Click I Agree. If you'd rather not continue, click I Do Not Agree.
4. Verify that you've read the Terms of Service by clicking in the check-box. Click Start Transfer.
5. Enter the "old" email sign-in name for the account you're transferring from, and in the pull-down menu, select the webmail domain it's from.
* Choose from:
Hotmail, AOL, Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo!, Cox, Earthlink, MSN, Netzero, Juno, CS, Optonline, and Worldnet.att.net
6. Enter the email account's password. Click Next.
7. Please wait a moment while we verify this information. If we run into a problem, we'll ask that you please re-enter the username, provider and password info.
8. Now, leave a check in the check-boxes beside the information you'd like to transfer to your Yahoo! account. You can transfer Email, Address Book info, and usually, your Calendar info. Please note some webmail programs don't feature calendars.
* Would you like to send a note to all these contacts announcing your new email address? No problem! Leave a check in the box beside "Send a note..." And if you want to write the note yourself, just click "Click here to personalize...". Click Next when you're done.
* Click Next to transfer the information to your new Yahoo! account.
* The "Finished" page will confirm the transfer and offers you a quick route back to your Yahoo! Mail account: Take Me To Yahoo! Mail.

My account has been illedally used , emails have been sent to my contacts begging for money. l cant get into my account with my password. Please advise . Thank you David

whenever you set up this email account, you should have left a secondary email address; one to send the password reset requests for situations like this. if you have a second email account
please enter to your jacked email address and click on the link forgot password, this will send an email to your secondary email account with instructions on how to reset the password of your account so that you can take control again.

Just received new Att email account with U-verse signup. Trying to set up email thru Outlook 2000. Need to know the ''Incoming mai (POP3)'' name and ''Outgoing mail (SMTP)'' name. Please assist. Email...

If you looking for POP3 SMTP Mail Servers then it would be
AT&T WorldNet incoming mail server: postoffice.worldnet.att.net
AT&T WorldNet outgoing mail server: mailhost.worldnet.att.net
or
incoming mail (POP3) -> ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net

Just for POP, I think should be somethinnd like
MemberID@att.net
or
pop.att.yahoo.com

Incoming Mail Server (POP3):
Host Name: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:995
User Name: your_username@worldnet.att.net

Good luck

Signed for ATT.net account, why yahoo now? not getting mails.

ATT.net creates a new Yahoo account for you when you sign up for their service. You now have a Yahoo account that can be accessed with the ladyg.....@att.net as the user and whatever your ATT pass is.

It is possible to merge the new account with the old account:

http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=485

The article states that you can only merge only during the registration process, but I believe this to be false.

I no longer have ATT, but there was an option to merge a Yahoo account while managing your ATT information (I belive this is accessible from your ATT home page). ATT should be able to assist you with that regardless of whether you merged during the registration process or not.
