I bought two memory banks: 1GB PC3200 400MHz unbuffered no ecc.
But if I plug-in, there only comes a sound like 4 times peep.
With my old 512MB-RAM I can mount the system with the two additional banks inside, but the system only shows 512MB.
With analytic tools like aida32 or Dr.Hardware2008 I found out, there is no JEDEC-ID and no serial-no. But the vendor said, SAMSUNG would be the producer.
Do I have to switch anything on the mainboard?
Does anybody has a solution?
Don't try to put your 512MB-RAM, remove it and put only 1GB both with rearest slots to each other.
As per your board specification you can upgrade upto 3GB. but all three memo-stick must be of same size, same type and same frequency.
Thanks
Iqbal
