tried to remove the battery and then re attached, turn on the pc laptop check if it works.

Try a system restore and bring computer back in time before this happened to restore settings

I recommend to install the BIOS from acer website go to and choose your acer laptop type : http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads_gd.html

If it doesn't work ... try reinstall your Windows.
