Hi
Please follow the bellow instruction as to how to change the lamp in projector…
Remove the power cord from the outlet and the unit completely.
The lamp compartment on projectors is usually located underneath the projector unit. For Rear Projection TVs, the lamp compartment should be located in the rear towards the bottom left or right side of the TV. 2-4 screws will be holding the compartment in place. Removed the screws and the lamp compartment door.
Carefully pull out the lamp assembly and disconnect any power cords that may still be connected to the lamp assembly. Put it aside and don't get it confused with your new lamp.
Dust gets everywhere and while you have the projector open, use a soft cloth or micro-fiber cleaning cloth to remove any loose dust from the lamp compartment.
Carefully reconnect any power cables to the new lamp if present and slide the new lamp into the compartment in the same orientation that the original lamp came out.
Set the lamp compartment door back into place and securely screw in the door without screwing it in too tightly.
Enjoy your projector or TV again and make sure you have a backup lamp handy in case the lights go out unexpectedly.
As for the standby light… First, unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it in trick, several times. If that doesn't work, try pressing the power button and slap the back left side of the set several times. Sometimes, this will shock the ballast and/or lamp into working
Let us know if you want to know something more else please accept the suggestion.

Stanby light flashes green and looses the signal tv turns to stanby then comes back on this happens about every 10 minutes

For the KDSR60XBR1, 5 blinks, pause, 5 blinks, etc. means "Lamp driver error" and the probable cause listed is "Lamp driver is faulty".

You may purchase the lamp driver (power supply block), part number 146893612, for $161.86 at http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/web/productSearch.do. Use the Part or Accessory Number to look it up."

Hlp 5063w on off front button flashing lamp then stanby..hear sound no picture.. shuts off then comes on.

If the lamp and standby lights are both flashing and the timer light is off, check that the lamp cover on the back of the TV is properly positioned in the groove and secured by the screw. Take it off and check that the screws that hold the lamp itself are secure. There is an safety feature that keeps the lamp from turning on when the lamp cover is off.

If the three lights (timer, lamp, and standby) are blinking, then the lamp needs to be replaced. If the timer and standby lights are blinking and the lamp light is off, then a cooling fan isn't working. When only the standby light is blinking and the other lights are off, the unit is overheating and a ventilation area may be blocked.

I hope this helps.

Panasonic PTAE 900U with new lamp and counter reset shut off

Reseat the lamp.  I had a similar problem.  Replaced the lamp and everything worked for about 3 hours.  Then, turned the projector off.  Next morning, when I turned it on, nothing.  Stanby/On light flashed green for a minute then the lamp light came on and the projector went into standby.
