Question about HP Pavilion a1610n PC Desktop
Let me tell you the steps to initiate the recovery from the hard drive.Turn the computer off and then disconnect any external devices connected to the computer like printer, usb storage devices and also the cable for the internet .Once that is done please do remember that as soon as you turn the computer off and then as soon as you release the power button after pressing it start tapping the f10 key without stopping until you get a blank screen that says system recovery.Follow the on screen instruction and then when you reach the page that says advance option click on it and then select destructive recovery and then click next.Recovery will start on its own and wait for it to reach 100% then it prompts you to restart the computer adn then when it comes back follow the onscreen instruction for the basic setup like selecting the the country time zome etc and then will take you to the desktop.
If the recovery does not work from the partiotion then you need to run it from the disc so please call up computer surgeons who deal with selling the recovery disks and the number is 1800-496-6127...
all the best ...

HP recovery discs can be used to return a computer's software configuration to its original condition. HP provides a recovery solution on the hard drive, but it is still a good idea to keep recovery discs stored in a safe place in the event of a hard drive failure. Use the sections in this document to obtain a recovery solution that works best for you.NOTE:HP computers designed for commercial use, such as Workstations or Pro series, use "Operating System" or "HP Restore Plus" DVDs. To order these types of discs, go to the HP Replacement Part Store . Recovering your computer without recovery discsYou may not need recovery discs to recover the software on your computer. HP provides a recovery solution on a separate area of the hard drive. If the hard drive is still functional, you can still perform an HP system recovery from the hard drive as long as the recovery information has not been destroyed or corrupted. To do a software recovery from the hard drive, turn on the computer and repeatedly press the F11 key until "Windows is loading files..." displays on the screen. If your computer originally came with Windows XP or earlier, press F10 to enter recovery instead of F11.If you are simply trying to restore the computer to factory install, you may not need the recovery discs.

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Nokia N70 ( or memory card) or taking new pictures.
Then find some photo recovery software from the following websites, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos and movies from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc. It also recovers photos from corrupted memory card.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.
Step 2: Connect your corrupted memory card to your PC or Mac.
Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.
Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.
