When I run align it says problem with alignment. I run clean it comes out one color. Black doesn't seem to work. Both cartridges are new, I have cleaned them also, a couple of times. When I copy or print nothing is on the paper,BLANK.
It seems you already did the necessary. Cleaning the nozzles on the cartridges and placing them back in properly. You may have defective cartridges. I strongly advise you to contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate this. I hope I can assist you more on this.

Have you tried setting the color to black cartridge only. You may be printing the black with a combination of colored inks. I occasionally have a similar problem. Sometimes I can get the black to work by taking a paper towel dampened with distilled water and holding it against the cartridge print head until I see black ink coming out. Replace the cartridge and try printing again. If this doesn't work try a new cartridge and run through your Printer Settings, making sure they are all set properly.
This means one of the cartridges is defective, they cant align if they cant print. What i did to fix this problem is insert 2 working cartridges and get it to align properly, even if they are low on ink, then lift the cover and the cartridges will move to the center. When this happens pull the power cable out, then insert the full non functioning cartridge. Plug the power cable back in. I tried this with a color cartridge, the color cartridge was non functioning but i was able to print in black. Basically you align the cartridges and then swap them so the printer thinks they are still aligned. The color still doesnt work and it is probably a defective color cartridge.
Did you take the tape off the printed circuit on the back and bottom of the new ink cartridges, also some replacement ink comes with a sticker over a vent hole that needs to be removed so the ink can flow out.
You may want to also try running through the printers head alignment and cleaning cycle to get it working.
All colors need to be present to pass alignment. Usually what I see is the yellow is empty. You can blot the print cartridge on a damp paper towel to verify the inks are working and this also cleans the head.
Is it a new genuine cart? If so, I have had this problem. Run multiple copies of black only text, Run 50 copies, will still spit out blank pages. Then head clean. If no black repeat. I did this for around 200-250 copies then Volia! black. Hope this helps
I cleaned the vertical centerpost (you'll see it when the cartidge is out)with a small amount of acetone (nail polish remover) on a Qtip & it works fine now....must be some kind of circuit that needs to be closed and the ink on it kept it open....
Dies this model have a separate print head?
Or is the head part of the cartridge?
If it is the latter then it seems to be a data transfer problem- which means possibly the contacts in the machine that mate with the contacts on the cartridge are dirty or damaged.
In the first instance try gentle rubbing with a moist tissue the in machine contacts then try.
