Question about iLO DVDR05 DVD Recorder
When would you need a modulator
Shouldn't need one, If you can't get the tuner source of your ilo to record, try using A/V cables (output) from tv to (Inputs) on ilo. set tv on channel you want to watch and it should come through to the ilo (selecting the correct source input of course) If your tv is really old and doesn't have A/V then you will need RF Modulator. This way of hooking tv up will also work with recording DIGITAL signal from a Digital converter box type tuner (the tuner in Ilo soon to be no longer operatable).
